$7 Luggage!

Yes, it's true. I paid $7 for my fabulous, vintage luggage. I was Halloween costume shopping with my Mom and there it was in all its '70's glory. Tags without writing and keys still attached. It was meant to be. I feel like that was the first time my Mom and I laughed together about Peru. I still laugh, although now it is more nerves and excitement. The yellow luggage still always gets me.

Sorry the picture is crummy. That is at Goodwill with the cell camera. Goodwill lighting is making everything yellowish, but the luggage is pretty spot on. I didn't get it right away. I asked the very fashionable M. first. When she said yes my Mom went back and picked them up for me. I was so lucky! We didn't put them on hold and no one else bought them...can you believe it?
I made my little scarf too. Icelandic wool and rainbow mohair. Lovely. Well...now you know.

Just Checking it Out

Here it is...officially the first blog post. A test if you will. And I have nothing to say. I stare at the blank space, switch tabs to Etsy; stare at the blank space, shop on Etsy. You would think a person who talks as much as I do might have a little something to say. It's a good thing I am going to Peru.
